Let’s Talk Program Evaluation: A Participatory Workshop

Join LACONI-POP for an afternoon dedicated to exploring and improving our methods of program evaluation. Many libraries struggle to find the best fitting ways to measure the success of our programs beyond attendance numbers. This has become increasingly complex in virtual, hybrid, and passive program environments. This highly interactive event is designed for library staff at all levels who interact with program delivery, evaluation, and reporting. We invite libraries of every size, budget, and volume of programming to the table to come together on this topic with the goal of learning more about possible methods, best practices, and even a stronger understanding of that pesky required state reporting.

Come prepared to work in small groups as we examine and share on the following topics:

  • Overview of topic – how to evaluate programs

  • Learning vs. Outcomes vs. Impact

  • All about IPLAR requirements

  • Survey design

Mid-afternoon refreshments will be served!
